Is there priority access for people with disabilities?

Visitors with mobility disabilities and pregnant women are granted priority access (in skip-the-line mode). In both cases, the right is extended to one accompanying person.

Is it possible to hire a wheelchair?

Report your arrival to the security staff of the Royal Palace – first door on the left beyond the courtyard – who will be able to provide you with a wheelchair. A member of staff will escort you to the lift leading to the first floor. An identity document is required to hold your booking for the duration of your visit.

Can I reserve a wheelchair?

It is not possible to reserve a wheelchair in advance.

Is there access for wheelchair users?

You will be able to reach the main entrance of the Palace on Piazza Duomo completely independently.

Signal your arrival to the Palazzo Reale’s security staff – first door on the left beyond the courtyard – who will take you to the lift.

During your visit you will find no difficulty in visiting all the exhibition rooms and reaching the available toilets.

Does the exhibition route include stairs?

Yes, if you are unable to access the exhibition stairs leading to the entrance of the exhibition route, please report your arrival to the custodian staff – first door on the left beyond the courtyard – who will accompany you to the lift.
